Love this place for Indian delivery, they have a wide variety of typical Indian options. My Favorite is their garlic nann and their Indian curry with potatoes.

Can't believe I haven't tried this place after moving in the neighborhood for two years. We love the curry, the bread and the ambiance! The food tastes fresh and delicious. We got free dessert as well. Will come again :)

This restaurant is amazing from the moment you set foot in here. The service is great and the food is really good. Especially the mango Lhasi and the paneer makhti (sp) The decor is fancy and elegant. Would be back

My boyfriend & I wanted Indian food. He took me to Indian Oven where I had never been before & he had only had take out. We got Samosas, chicken pakora--which came recommended by the waiter, tandoori chicken, fried rice & chicken vindaloo. We also got the garlic & onion naan. It was all so good, just a flavor explosion on my tounge!! My favorite was definitely the vindaloo while it was a bit too spicy for my boyfriend. He requested yogurt to counter it.....I knew that would happen! His favorite was the tandoori chicken. I must say, when I go back I will definitely get the pankora again. Our waiter was extremely helpful & good with checking in to make sure we were OK or if we needed anything. When we were too full to eat anymore of the yumminess, he brought us over a complimentary desert of these hot little donut holes soaked in a syrup. So good, so sweet, SO MUCH FOOD!! I loved all the paintings & the decor on the walls, which I only got a picture of one. I was surprised that this delicious restaurant was not more busy on a Friday night although they did seem to have quite a busy take out business going. I recommend going in. The service was great & the decor is perfect!

Indian Oven has been the go-to restaurant in Lower Haight for at least 30 years. Their quality has never wavered. It's important to support local businesses, so give them a try. Start out with the garlic naan & potato pea samosas, work your way through the chicken masala & vindaloo. Go crazy & add some curry, any kind. The servers are happy to guide you through the menu and suggest things if you ask. I think they still have upstairs dining, great for events, however I prefer the downstairs ambiance. They do take-out too. Destination dining.

We came at their closing time but they were generous enough to let us dine in even though they were only taking take-out orders. We were pleasantly surprised that the place looked more upscale than we though. The food was great and they even gave us some complimentary sang paneer and their staff was really kind. I read a recent review of their hygiene not being very great but hopefully they fixed the issue.

Walked in and was seated right away by the kindest waitress. Food came quickly and was just what I had hoped for. For the portions the prices were good too. I'm glad I stopped by finally. Thank you for the solid meal and wonderful service! Some street parking nearby, very casual inside.

Great and flavorful Indian food for a reasonable price. Really large portions. The lamb curry was very tender and the cashew flavor really came through.
